The mission of the Business Partners, the Chamber for Uptown,
is to provide comprehensive support services and access to technical
assistance programs to businesses and economic investors located in and
serving Uptown. The assistance furnished by the Business Partners will
insure that Uptown businesses have the opportunity and tools to thrive,
and that the needs for goods and services in the community are met.

Scrap Mettle SOUL presents Borderline
Scrap Mettle SOUL presents a collection of stories and songs about the immigrant experience--its risks and rewards. Why do we cross borders? What stands in our way? Currently, there is a din of fear in this country about people who cross borders. " Borderline" is an attempt to speak over that noise. Directed by Stefan Brun and adapted by Jacob Juntunen. Free Pumpkin Patio Party at Starbucks
 On October 19th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. children and their parents in the Uptown community are invited to attend Starbucks second annual Pumpkin Patio Party. Attendees will have the opportunity to decorate miniature pumpkins; color trick-or-treat goodie bags and enjoy pumpkin tales read by local storytellers. They'll also enjoy holiday-themed beverages and pastries--all compliments of Starbucks.
