The mission of the Business Partners, the Chamber for Uptown, is to provide comprehensive support services and access to technical assistance programs to businesses and economic investors located in and serving Uptown. The assistance furnished by the Business Partners will insure that Uptown businesses have the opportunity and tools to thrive, and that the needs for goods and services in the community are met.

FREE Business Development Workshops from City

The City's Department of Business Affairs and Licensing (DBA) offers a series of FREE business education workshops throughout the year that continue to provide Chicago's business community with information on a wide array of business related topics to help them succeed and grow. Workshops are open to new and existing business owners, are held twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays at DBA's City Hall Office, 121 N. LaSalle Street on the 8th floor.
